The inn is surrounded by nature, so there were insects in and around my room, including a spider and a gecko. Getting picked up or dropped off at the port is limited, though you can take a bus. Still, the place is right by the beach on Nakajima, with private rooms as well as shared-bathroom rooms. There's an open terrace on the third floor with tables, chairs, and loungers, plus dining and community spaces downstairs. Coffee, tea, and water are complimentary in the dining area, and you can rent things like bicycles, beach toys, and fishing gear. I highly recommend booking both breakfast and dinner. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and there aren't any eateries nearby.

The rooftop deck is huge, with beautiful sunset views. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. Dinner was amazing. If you're on Nakajima, this quiet area is a must.
