Oval Tokyo Minami Ikebukuro

A nice place to stay in Tokyo.

The room was fairly spacious, with two single beds, two double beds, a table and TV in the middle, a small kitchenette next door, separate bath and toilet, and a washing machine. The only drawback was the stairs: it was on the third floor with no other access. This wasn’t mentioned when booking, so we only learned about it when we arrived, which was a hassle, especially with our heaviest luggage during the last few days. We paid ¥37,400 per day for the six-person room in April 2024.

The owner overbooked, so we had to find a hotel on the day of our reservation. Avoid this place.

It looks like a private lodging hotel registered in Toshima Ward.
