The crab was really satisfying and great value. If crab is what you’re after, this is the place to stay. There’s a swimming spot right in front of the hotel, but crab season is in winter, when there isn’t much else to do. The bath isn’t a hot spring.

I drove here on a long trip because I wanted seafood from the Sea of Japan. Crab season was over, so I had the place to myself. The couple who run the inn were friendly and made me feel very welcome.

I came here for the first time for a marathon and found it very homey. The staff were kind, and the food was good, especially the udon. The bathroom was small, but fine for the price.
