The lobby looks out onto a lovely outdoor view, which I really enjoyed. Our room was nice too, with a good view. The only English-speaking person at the front desk was a gentleman from Sri Lanka, and he helped us arrange what we needed.

The rooms had no shower, so guests were pushed toward the hot spring in the basement. That bath was about the only option, since the toilet bidets, air conditioner, and heating pots in the rooms were broken. There was dust and moss on the windows, the toilet smelled, and most of the rooms seemed dirty. Service was poor too. Based on my stay, this was the worst hotel I visited in Gunma prefecture. There are good hotels nearby, so I'd avoid this one.

The Onsen is the best part of this hotel. We stayed here with our groups for several weeks during past winters, and the comfort and service have declined. The rooms are far from clean, and booking doesn't guarantee a non-smoking room. The food is fine for a day, but not for a longer stay.

The room and toilet both smelled, and the food was average. Still, the hot spring was great. Enjoying the nature and morning sun was lovely.

Cozy place, beautiful view, and cheap rates. The staff were well educated and the service was great. You'll enjoy your stay.
