The room was a real comfort after long days out: spacious, spotless, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. We slept well every night, and the good bed, quality linens, lighting, and thoughtful amenities all helped. The location was convenient and scenic, easy to get around from, but still peaceful enough to get away from crowds. Breakfast had a generous spread of high quality ingredients, the kind of meal that made us slow down and enjoy the morning. From arrival, the staff were warm and attentive, and made us feel welcome like family. Check in was smooth, and later conversations felt personal and thoughtful. Service is what really distinguishes this hotel. The staff were discreet and professional, often anticipating what we needed without intruding, and seemed to care about our comfort. This stay became a highlight of our trip. We'd happily choose it again, and recommend it to anyone who values comfort, style, and warm hospitality.

The lobby is luxurious, and the view of the TONE RIVER is amazing. It's a gorgeous place now, after a recent renovation, even though the hotel itself is very old. The souvenir shop's fresh baked breads are to die for. Can't wait to go back.

There are plenty of places to relax, including a big balcony with a view over the Tone River, and a fireplace to sit by. In the lounge, I enjoyed live music in the evening along with complimentary drinks and snacks. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities and amenities were well maintained. The rooms were spotlessly clean and had everything I needed. The two onsens rotate daily, which felt luxurious. Parking was plentiful, a three-minute walk away. I'll definitely return.

The hot spring baths were lovely, with a free massage chair, draft beer, and ice candies available afterward. A lot has changed since the owner changed. When I was checking in, family members were waiting for me, and staff greeted me and escorted me to the lounge with my luggage.

It's a nice hotel in general, though it feels a little overpriced for what's offered. The staff were quite friendly, the onsen was nice, and breakfast was excellent. The rooms felt slightly dated, and late checkout costs far too much, over 10000 yen per hour.
