Good value for the price, and dogs were allowed. The only real downside was that we had just cold water in our room.

The innkeeper was so kind, she even drove us to the supermarket. The place has a fun, almost attraction-like feel to it. Getting back to our room from the public bath was a maze, and two of the three of us got lost.

The landlady made my week here. She offered me a drink when I said I was going to buy one, and had the large public bath warmed and filled just right when I told her when I planned to go. She also apparently takes guests to a nearby restaurant, though I usually ate at the hotel after work. I had a wonderful time, and really appreciated her hospitality throughout the week. The room was Japanese-style, with a traditional interior and a sea view from the window. I usually stay at business hotels like APA Hotels, and this one doesn't have their latest amenities, so it may not suit you if that's what you need. I only stayed here for work because nearby hotels were full, but next time I'd like to come back to travel and explore the area.

The owner’s wife took such careful care of us during our summer stay, two adults and three children. The rooms are a little dated, but clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, so we could all bathe together and made lovely memories. The changing room has no air conditioning and gets quite hot in summer, though we can laugh about that as part of the memory. There’s self-service tea and coffee in the lobby. Since there aren’t any shops around the inn, we picked up food on the way. The children had a great time and already say they want to go again. We’d love to stay here as a family another time.
