Awaji-Shima C-Side Sky Arena

We came as seven people with three dogs and found the stylish, open-plan villa comfortable. The breakfast bread was especially good. There was no shower chair, though, so we had to wash standing up, which could be hard for older people. The bigger worry was the staircase: with no side walls, our dog slipped about halfway up and fell sideways. Thankfully nobody was hurt, but could you add something like acrylic panels to prevent falls? It could be dangerous for small children.

I'm itchy every day, and my body is covered in rashes. I can barely take my clothes off. The day after staying there I broke out badly, and was told it might be mites, fleas, or bed bugs. Several others who shared the same room have the same symptoms. Shouldn't the operator be properly getting rid of these pests and keeping the place clean? I asked what they would do and requested either a refund of the stay or compensation for medical costs. Their response wasn't helpful: they said they'd never had a case like this before.

The food was a big hit with the kids. We had BBQ the first night and sukiyaki the second, and both were delicious. They said it was the best meal they'd ever had. The dog enjoyed running around the circular connection between the approach and first-floor terrace, too. Every room was clean and stylish. Since the house is in a residential neighborhood, it was very quiet and we could relax together as a family. There isn't a convenience store nearby, though, so once you start drinking, you can't pop out for more, haha.

We all left really happy after staying here with a friend. The place was stylish and comfortable, and everything felt clean, probably because it was newly built. The large bathroom was great for relaxing. Breakfast was a treat: we baked the frozen bread in the oven and ate it fresh, with Awaji Island milk and Awaji Island yogurt. Thank you!
