This is about my stay in early 2025, not 2026. I’m writing a positive review after staying at another onsen and realizing how good this one was. The reception was wonderful, and they could speak English. Dinner and breakfast were incredible. Both the public bath and our room were clean, and having our own onsen bath with a fantastic view made for an amazing stay. I’ll definitely come back if I get the chance.

I was especially impressed by the local beer I ordered through room service after soaking in the in-room hot spring. Best beer I’ve ever had! The room’s hot spring was incredibly comfortable, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious, with lots of choices. The inn has an old-fashioned feel, but it’s clean and well cared for. The staff were friendly and the service was good. Thank you so much!

The meals served around the hearth featured fresh ingredients, including lots of things particular to Chikura, and the room had a tasteful atmosphere. The hot spring’s large bath was warm, while the medicinal bath was lukewarm. Going between the two felt refreshing. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. It’s hard to believe the low reviews. I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Thank you very much.
