Farm Inn Miyoshi Sugitato

The stay was comfortable, and I have no complaints apart from the bathroom. Since the property has quite a bit of space, I wish the bathroom were larger. I booked the pet-friendly option without meals.

You can bring your own food and cook whatever you feel like eating. The landlord was very kind, and it felt like being at home. I was surprised by how steep the slope was.

We had a great view, and at night you could hear frogs. The BBQ area already had a table and bench, so we didn’t need to bring much. There are some insects because it’s surrounded by nature, but I’m from the countryside, so it didn’t bother me much. The owner was very friendly, and most of the communication was by phone, apart from payment, which made things easy. The building is beautiful, and dogs are welcome, so I’d recommend it to people bringing pets.

We had a really fun two-night stay with our dog, my daughter, and her boyfriend. The room and bedding were clean and just right. My daughter was a little frightened by the spiders and stink bugs around the property, but with all the greenery, I suppose that comes with the setting. The owner has a handsome face and a cute smile, and his wife was kind and fun to chat with. They answered our questions by phone beforehand, showed us how to light the BBQ when we arrived, and came back later to see how we were doing. We drove to the beach early, then ate breakfast on the terrace in the sparkling morning sun before heading back to bed. It was wonderful, and a welcome break from the stress of caring for my mother and commuting to work. I’d love to return and see them again.
