Aoki is incredible, and this feels like an oasis. It's my first time at a Pension, and I highly recommend coming here. I've only seen the town at night so far, but it's a beautiful little hamlet. My huge takeaway was the Down Town Boogie Woogie Band. WOW!

The lobby has jazz albums and all sorts of snacks, and there's a private spring as well. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable.

Delicious food, and the beach is only five minutes away. The onsen is free to use until 10 pm. It costs 80 dollars for 1 adult and 60 dollars for 1 child.

Right across from Yumigahama Beach, this pension makes a handy base for walks on the Izu Promenade or cycling trips. The rooms are clean and have their own bath and toilet. There's ample parking on site for cars and motorcycles, which works well for families or groups.

I brought my dog for a year-end stay. The inn was easy on the budget, had great music playing, and you could really feel the owner's passion.
