We've stayed here for two years in a row while skiing at Ishiuchi Maruyama, and guests using public transport can get a ride to the station. The innkeeper is incredibly kind, and the meals are generous, delicious, and clearly made with care. Even the wild mountain vegetables are picked by the owner. Okubo-san's pickled wild greens were delicious!

Mr. Okubo cooks local food, and it's delicious. Lately, more Taiwanese guests have been coming because his cooking is so tasty. You can also have a drink by the fireplace.

Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and the owner was very friendly. The guesthouse was clean, and from the room window I could see Ishida Maruyama ski resort, as well as fireworks from the Gala ski area. It's also very close to the central entrance of Ishida Maruyama. I'll definitely stay here again on my next ski trip to Ishida Maruyama.

The night before our planned visit, my child got sick, so we couldn't make the trip. I felt bad about the trouble for the inn, and it was a sad outcome for our family, who had been looking forward to the trip. Since we had to cancel on the day, we also had to pay the full cancellation fee.
