The coin laundry was tricky to locate, but a security guard happened to point me in the right direction. I also found the rental chargers on the second floor really convenient. I was here for work and booked through my company, but struggled with the unfamiliar check-in process. Google Maps had me looking forward to breakfast being included, then I learned it no longer was. I wish they’d update that information.

With so many newer hotels in Misawa now, this one feels like one of the older options. It has only the basics, including amenities of similar quality, and the move to unmanned check-in and checkout came with the end of breakfast service. Since newer hotels are often fully booked, it can still work if you’re happy to keep things simple and stay cheaply. For a personal trip, AURUM, possibly part of the same group, seems better placed near the downtown area.

I come back every year for the Misawa Air Base Air Show, and the hotel’s location near the base is fantastic. There’s lots of parking, and it’s a decent place if you’re not too particular. Since the R7 model, though, the front desk has been unmanned, reservations are online only, and breakfast isn’t included.

Just stayed one night. The hotel has a single elevator and parking out front. The building is air-conditioned throughout, so it never got too cold. Hot water came on as soon as I turned the faucet, and the shower pressure was strong.
