Ryozan

We were working nearby for a client and stayed at this beautiful hotel for two nights. The staff were friendly, the food was amazing, and after long workdays the onsen was a welcome relief. We really loved the stay. Highly recommended!

Peaceful surroundings, great food, and a private onsen on site. This Ryokan is one of a kind, with amazing design and fabulous rooms.

The dinners and breakfasts were delicious, almost overwhelming, and the Onsens were gorgeous. Set in a beautiful place, this was an amazing Ryokan. As an Aussie, I really appreciated getting such a wonderful immersion in Japanese culture and cuisine.

I found this hot spring on a map and booked a private day-use bath by phone. The woman who answered was polite and cheerful. I couldn't see her, but I could tell she was smiling as she greeted me. The front desk staff were smiling and polite too. The private bath was spacious, and true to its name, "Oniwa," it had lots of demon rocks. The changing room was spotless, and even the trays were clean. Forty minutes felt a little short, but I liked the bath's atmosphere, the phone and front desk service, and how clean everything was. I'll definitely come back, and next time I'd like to stay overnight. There's a river and a lovely view, and I'm sure the rooms have great views too. Apparently members of the imperial family have stayed here as well. The hot spring felt smooth and refreshing.
