The building is compact, but the staff were attentive, and having a shop downstairs plus the reception, restaurant, and coin laundry on the second floor made the hotel very functional. We stayed at Mimatsu Annex, a short bus ride from Mito Station, which worked well for sightseeing or business. They offered us a welcome drink at check-in, a nice way to settle in after the long journey. The rooms had yukata robes, giving the stay a relaxed Japanese feel. A cozy place I'd recommend for a short stay. 🌿

They included breakfast for a reasonable price, and also offered complimentary drinks and heated rooms. The staff were very considerate. It was a little hard to find, though it was near the downtown area.

The room was decent and the cleaning was acceptable. The front desk staff were polite and pleasant, and I appreciated their hospitality after the event. There are two Mimatsu hotels in Mito, but both are a walk from the station. It's a good fit if you have business downtown. I didn't, so the distance wasn't ideal for me. 😊

For the price, I think it's fantastic, and breakfast is all-you-can-eat. One odd thing, though: the service voucher doesn't cover the parking fee.

The rooms are a little dated but kept in good condition. The staff are very helpful, and they serve a simple breakfast.
