The bed and the room floor were clean, and the hotel is conveniently close to the train station. The lobby was clean too, and the staff were very nice. But the building is very old. The carpeting on the way to my room was old and stained, dust was visible in the room vents, and the bathroom was my least favorite part.

I walked in and booked on the spot; the hotel looked welcoming, clean, and presentable. The lobby has air conditioning and reclining chairs, which were comfortable while waiting since check-in isn't until 3 p.m. The room had a traditional Japanese hotel feel. The bed was comfortable, there was no noise from the main street, and I got a hot shower plus clean towels and a gown each day. Great for a short stay.

For the price, this is good value if all you need is a place to sleep. It's a great location, a five-minute walk from Mito Station, with lots of restaurants around. They offer a welcome drink, including soft drinks, coffee, beer, and wine. The restaurant is on the second floor, and breakfast is free for everyone. It was a good standard Japanese breakfast. They also give a 200yen service coupon for the designated parking area. Room 616 was small and not very clean, just okay.
