Takamatsu Guest House Akane - Vacation STAY 83061v

Really, we had a lot of noise coming from the other room.

A small guesthouse with a family-style feel.

I stayed here in Takamatsu with my young children and felt completely at ease. The place was roomy and clean, and it was convenient to walk to both a supermarket and a restaurant serving the local specialty, chicken on the bone. Takamatsu Station is a little far, but the roads are straightforward and easy to follow. The best!

There was trash in the bin and a mysterious business card from an Osaka shop on the bed, even though the room itself was spotless and very clean. Worse, I found a 2cm-long drop of poop in the drain of the second-floor bathtub. When I called, they insisted they were cleaning it but didn't apologize, which was disappointing. On another website, they wrote, "On the day, they thoroughly removed the bathtub and even the drain, cleaning the black stains..." I had called and asked them to come inspect it, but they didn't try. They even suggested our child had pooped there. I was very disappointed by that response. Other websites mentioned lots of discarded diapers in the kitchen bin and a foul smell. There was no notice saying diapers couldn't go in that bin. If guests weren't allowed to put them there, I wish they'd labeled it. If you're staying with children, I recommend taking your diapers and other rubbish with you. A neighbor reported the hotel, suspecting child crying and abuse, so I don't recommend staying here with small children. I only wanted an honest admission that they hadn't cleaned the room and an apology. Instead, they spoke to me horribly, and I'm very disappointed. I'll never stay there again.
