I’ve dealt with the problem of having tattoos and wanting to use an onsen or sentō before, but this was the first time I’ve ever been denied even a shower. That felt inhumane and unacceptable. Avoid this place if you have tattoos.

Important: if privacy matters to you, be aware that people in nearby buildings can see you naked in the hot spring. I wasn’t staying at this hotel, I was at dormy inn, and I could see the whole hot spring from my room there. I’m leaving this comment as a heads-up.

The breakfast area was cramped, and the front desk was hard to find. The restroom and hot spring were dirty. The cabinet was very old and had no AC outlets, there was no table, and the TV was ugly. I completely don’t recommend this place!!!

The shared areas are full of smoke, and there are no outlets in the capsules. The TV remote was broken, and the air conditioner vent didn’t do anything. It’s an old building, and the facilities feel that way. I wouldn’t recommend it, especially for pilgrims who need to recharge and wake up genki.

The onsen was great, and the room and amenities were fine. The downside is that a lot of the rooms don't have outlets.
