Good value for the price. The room was clean and tidy, and the staff were nice. It’s about a 20-minute walk from Takamatsu JR station, with Takamastsu Castle Park nearby.

The udon tasted good, and the curry was fine. Curry is free on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, while free beef rich is served Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. I did get a stomach ache after the curry, though. The location was alright, not far from katahara machi. It has an old-school feel, right down to using keys instead of room cards.

For three days, I found the place cleaner than I expected and the service was better than expected, all at a reasonable price. There was a faint cigarette smell in the hallway and my room. It’s a bit of a walk from the main street, which is manageable, but could feel rough in hot weather.

The building feels quite old, but for the room price it was okay. It had the basics I needed, including a mini fridge, electric kettle, and hair dryer. The toilet had a bidet as well.

Walking made more sense than waiting around for infrequent public transport, so I didn’t get a chance to ride it. The location sits nicely between the shopping district and Takamatsu port. Inside, the hotel looks old, but it’s clean, and they serve free curry rice in the evening.
