April 2025. The room’s own AC can be adjusted to suit you. The place is a little dated for my taste, but has what you need and is in a great location. There are a few convenient stores nearby, and only a few parking spots opposite the hotel. I’m not sure whether there are affiliated spaces nearby. Breakfast choices are limited.

The rooms and common areas look quite run down, though they’re still well maintained. One drawback is that rooms use traditional keys instead of the automatic card system most Japanese business hotels have. The location is convenient, only two minutes from Takamatsu Station, so it’s a good choice if you’ll rely on the train network to get around.

Riho at reception made our stay at Hyper Inn Takamatsuekimae more enjoyable. Her English was impressively good, so communication was easy, and she suggested places to visit based on what our family likes. She was very helpful from check-in onward, making the process smooth and welcoming, and went out of her way to make the trip memorable. Thanks, Riho!

There’s a small dining and rest corner by reception on the G/F, with free beverages. This little inn looks a bit worn and dated, but it’s a nice budget option near Takamatsu Station.

The rooms are a bit old, but the service was fine. The location is great, close to JR Takamatsu station and the ferry station, and also pretty near the shopping arcade.
