There’s a kitchen with two sizes of saucepans and frying pans, plus plates and bowls, so I could cook for myself. The place also had a washing machine and even a drying rack. It was the most comfortable place I stayed in Takamatsu, and there was plenty of space. Check-in was self-service with a PIN, and the tablet offered several languages. The paid parking lot is across from the entrance. Its fee wasn’t the cheapest around Kawaramachi, but it wasn’t the most expensive either. The busy city center was within walking distance. The only problem was some kids running and jumping around next door one night; once they left, it was quiet the following day.

The rooms are spacious and attractive, with a kitchen that makes them handy for longer stays. Rooms 401 and 402 connect, which worked well for families traveling together. The station and shopping street are very close, so shopping is easy, and there are lots of restaurants nearby. After a drink at an izakaya, you can walk back.

November 18, 2023 It’s just a code to check in, which is convenient, and the hotel is close to the busiest shopping area. Driving is less straightforward: nearby parking can be hard to find, so pay attention to the fees. Avoid lots that don’t have a maximum nighttime rate.

It’s about a two-minute walk from Watamachi Station. The outside looks old, but the fourth and sixth floors are decorated very luxuriously. Bring your reservation code to check in. There’s a password for access, and the place has what you need: a washing machine, kitchen, lots of clothes racks and tables, a crib, and plenty of lighting. Five stars.
