Mito Daiichi Hotel Annex

A straightforward business hotel at a reasonable price, good enough for somewhere to sleep.

I feel down every time I have to come here for work. I've stayed several times, and I really don't want to stay again. The bathroom and toilet are cramped, and there's nowhere to leave my luggage. I keep finding 3-4 hairs in the bathtub. The shower curtain has bubbles and hair on it, so it doesn't look like it's been cleaned, and the 24-hour private bath is so dirty I wonder when anyone cleans it. It's not just because the place is old. It simply doesn't feel clean. I'd only pick this hotel if my company specifically required it.

The large public bath is a nice feature, but the water is lukewarm and cold drafts get in. The hotel is clean, though noisy from next door, and the building is old. It's also far from the station. Unless the price is low, I'd choose another hotel.
