We picked this place mainly for the island view, and it was just as good as we'd hoped. The house was clean, modern, and had everything we needed. Soaking in the bathtub / jacuzzi with that view was amazing. Finding it the first time was the tricky part. The turn is along a narrow road surrounded by solar panels, so it's easy to miss, but once we knew where it was, it wasn't an issue. I'd stay here again!
The place is really quiet, with no nearby houses or other buildings, and I loved watching fish jump in the sea in the morning. The view from the room was soothing. Cleanliness could be an issue if you're particular about it. There's apparently a cowshed nearby, and the manure smell was strong enough that I couldn't open the window. If that sort of thing doesn't bother you, I think you'd really enjoy staying here.
I'm from Kagawa Prefecture, and I was excited to stay here when a friend came to visit from outside the prefecture. We wanted privacy, time to relax, plenty of drinks, and karaoke, and the inn let us do all of that! 🎤♫ It rained, so we made our own fun indoors. We bought vegetables straight from a farm, picked up Sanuki's famous bone-in chicken, and grilled it ourselves. It turned into a really special experience for all of us. 🍗 By morning the weather had cleared. We were a bit hungover, but still got to enjoy a bath with that spectacular view and make the most of our stay. 🛁
We enjoyed the location and had a relaxing time, but first we had to spend about an hour cleaning the dusty room and clearing away dead insects. It may have been a few days since it was last cleaned. The building seemed to have been converted from a warehouse or office, and insects could get in through a gap in the front door. There were no curtains. The area isn't busy, but a fisherman showed up early in the morning and could see inside, including the second-floor toilet from outside. There was a cowshed nearby too, so we could smell the cows. If you can live with those things, the stay can be comfortable.
We've stayed at this villa many times, and even had a small wedding party here during the COVID-19 pandemic. It's a lovely place for getting together with friends and family. With no homes nearby, we could play our music loud and laugh without worrying about anyone. The villa sits right by the ocean, with the calm Seto Inland Sea, Tsushima Shrine, and Seto Ohashi Bridge visible in the distance. The separate dining room has karaoke and a big counter kitchen with a hot plate, so there's room to cook and have fun. They had some condiments, which came in handy. I was a little disappointed there were no wine glasses, though maybe in such an open space they could easily get broken...lol. I'll definitely come back 🤲
