The host was so kind and pointed us toward some great local restaurants. We tried Tonkatsu Yamaoka, and it was delicious. The pork, rice, and cabbage were all top-notch, and my wife was really impressed. There are plenty of good places to eat around here. The room was very clean and seemed recently renovated. I loved the mix of a calming Japanese-style room and a modern, stylish kitchen. There was a projector in the Japanese-style room, so we watched movies, and my daughter put on YouTube on the big screen. Before long, she'd fallen asleep. The morning air was lovely, and there's a nice shrine nearby for a stroll. Chichibugahama Beach and Takaya Shrine with its "Torii Gate in the Sky" are also close. It's a good base for exploring the western part of Kagawa. There's plenty of parking, but the entrance road is narrow. Go in slowly and even a large car should fit just fine. Thanks for a wonderful stay and a great host.
