The shuttle is free and runs three times an hour from the lobby to Sannomiya Station and Shin Kobe. Sannomiya has just about everything, including a bakery. The location is perfect. I've stayed in plenty of five-, six-, and even seven-star hotels, but the service here felt seven-star to me. I loved the room, especially the bed, shower, and views. Even after a really rough day, walking in made it feel worthwhile. I can't quite describe it, I just loved it!

It's a little away from the city center, but the hotel shuttle makes getting around easy. The view of the city skyline and mountain line from the rooftop bar is lovely. A bit of a secret spot for an evening drink.

Set on Port Island beside the convention center, Kobe Portopia Hotel is a tall, luxurious hotel with panoramic views of Osaka Bay, the harbor, and Kobe's famous nightscape. Shimin Hiroba Station is a short walk away, and free shuttles go to Sannomiya and Shin-Kobe. It's convenient for business trips and events, or for a quieter stay, though it's some distance from central Kobe. The rooms are spacious and clean, large by Japanese standards. There are several restaurants, indoor and outdoor pools, a spa, and fitness facilities. Guests give it strong ratings across Google Maps, Booking, Expedia, Trip.com, and Tripadvisor, with reviews often praising the views, helpful staff, good breakfast, and value. A strong option if you want a comfortable stay with scenery.

The rooms are clean and spacious, and the staff are kind and helpful. It's easy to get there from Sannomiya station. Breakfast on the 30F was very good, with both Western and Japanese food and a beautiful panorama.

A big, traditional international hotel, and it has enormous conference halls too. The front desk runs like clockwork, and there's a shuttle to Sannomiya and Shinkobe every 20 minutes. My room had the necessary amenities, a comfortable bed, and a wide view of the port. The TV doesn't have Netflix. Having a family mart inside the hotel was a great plus.
