Clean room, gracious staff, and a perfect location. But the room was far too hot, even with the cold November weather outside. The whole building is heated and the thermostat is set way too high, with no option to switch to A/C. I turned off the heat and opened the window, but it still didn't cool enough, and sleeping was difficult. Maybe iguanas would be comfortable here. I wouldn't stay again.

The price is reasonable, and the room was clean with a decent enough bed. It's the usual APA Hotel experience at a different spot. The location is superb, right across from the Kobe Sannomiya Railway Terminal, with plenty of restaurants and places to eat nearby. I'll stay here again.

You know what you're getting with an Apa: a small room, a good bed, and solid staff. It's no luxury stay, but the basics are covered well if you just need somewhere to sleep. Unfortunately, there's only one laundry machine, and it had to restart partway through the program.

APA hotels will keep your luggage for a day, for example if you arrive early before check-in opens, but they won't store it for several days. Hotels in Japan may do that when needed, so APA's policy is an exception and should be much clearer on their website. This caused some really embarrassing moments for me, and I feel bad for the front desk ladies. I'm sorry I made their day harder.

It's a good hotel within walking distance of sannomiya station. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to help. My only issue is that the shower and bathroom feel a little compact for western bodies.
