The setting is so quiet, though a restaurant and supermarket are only a few minutes away by car. The owners are a really nice couple, too. This old house is a treasure, filled with art and traditional pieces while still having modern comforts. If you want to stay in a historic home, this is the place.

The host was super friendly, and the kitchen is fully equipped. The bath is especially distinctive, with an antique feel. It’s a very well-kept mansion over 100 years old, and I felt lucky to stay there. You can book through Airbnb. I’d recommend having a car to get to this accommodation.

I just wish there’d been a proper rack for drying clothes. The house itself is beautiful and cozy, and the host was kind and looked after us really well. Highly recommend.

We loved this hinoke house and would visit again next time we're in town. It's a wonderful Japanese-style home, and the host was super friendly and helpful with everything.
