The nearest convenience store is quite a long way away. Still, my child had a good time, and the staff were really kind, so I’m satisfied. It was very reasonably priced, although the facilities were quite old.

The staff even helped carry all the heavy stoves and ingredients for our BBQ, and the food was great: high-quality meat and vegetables, plus ajillo, curry, and naan. We enjoyed it all. We had a great view from the wooden deck, which led straight from our room, and eating there was incredibly comfortable. We came on a family summer holiday with our two children, ages 3 and 2, and had been looking for somewhere where we wouldn’t disturb other guests. My wife forgot her ring when we got home, but they later sent it to us cash on delivery. It was packed with such care, and we really appreciated it. The stay was short, so we’d love to come back and take our time. Thank you!
I'm so glad our first trip together was here. The staff were kind and helpful, and we’ll definitely come again. I visited with my two sons, ages 3 and 2, on what was my first solo trip with my child. They’re very mischievous, so I worried right up to the last minute, but the staff removed dangerous items and made thoughtful room arrangements. Traveling alone with them made me nervous, but we ended up having such a fun trip. I’d brought waterproof sheets for the futon, window locks, and a toilet training seat. I hadn’t expected to use the cloth tape in the room, but it was handy for stopping my 2-year-old from opening and closing the fridge over and over. I was also worried about the unit bathroom, but the boys were surprised and laughed when they discovered there was a toilet inside. They didn’t put their hands in it, and we could bathe safely. Even though I booked only a few days ahead, they kindly dealt with requests to remove the TV and seal the door to the second-floor stairs. I wondered whether writing this might lead to more requests from other guests with small children, but I never expected them to help so much. They gave me the confidence to finally take the dream trip as a group of three. Thank you so much.
There was plenty of room, and I was able to relax comfortably. The underfloor heating kept the place warm, but several stink bugs appeared in the middle of winter, probably because of the warmth. There was even a mummified insect caught between the partition boards in the tatami room. The bathroom’s automatic tap made it impossible to keep the water running until it got hot, and it was very cold. The stair handrail had large gaps, and since a small child wanted to climb the stairs, I had to keep my eyes on them in case they fell. The kitchen had an induction cooktop, but the choice of compatible pots and pans seemed limited.
On July 22nd and 23rd, I had a great time catching amago trout and having a BBQ while listening to the Yoshida River. The covered BBQ area was comfortable and smoke-free, and every room had air conditioning, so it was comfortable to sleep and stay in. I’d like to come again if I get the chance. There isn’t a supermarket nearby, though, so if you need to shop, it’s best to go to Valor in Gujo city.
