The location was quiet but inconvenient. The owner from Osaka wasn’t especially friendly or kind.

I’m local, but I’d recommend this to tourists too if they want a genuinely private experience. I used the sauna with just my friends, and it was a wonderful time. The sauna’s made from earthbags and coral, which gave it a unique, relaxing feel. It also has a chiller, so you can take a cold-water bath. I’ll definitely be back! ✌

The barbecue was a real draw, with plenty of tasty ingredients from the island. The sauna, built from soil mixed with coral, is popular too. The villa on Miyako Island uses earthbag construction. An acquaintance I met at a well-known eco-village in the mountains of Kanagawa Prefecture handcrafted it.

The blue sky and Miyakojima's greenery made this a lovely spot to slow down. I came across it while sightseeing and looking for a sauna, and the warmth from the earthbag sauna felt just right. I had a great time.

The loyly smelled so good, and the sauna room itself is amazing. It seems to be made with earthbags filled with coral.
