The room was spacious and clean ♥️

The room was bigger than I expected, with a place to store luggage that made it easy to use. The front desk staff were warm and friendly, with that lovely Okinawan feel. It was my first stay here. The washing machine came in handy, but its drying function wasn't very good, so I had to hang things in the room or use the gas dryer on the fifth floor. There were only two dryers, and they closed at 11 p.m. to keep noise down. I also wished the public bath stayed open a little later. The unit bath was a bit inconvenient for a room for four. The only loungewear options were one-size-fits-all or children's sizes, 80-130 cm. Breakfast was delicious. I'd been a little concerned after reading reviews, but Miyako soba and yushi tofu were still being replenished at 8 a.m. It wasn't crowded, so I could eat peacefully. Since the only amenities provided were tea bags, it would've been nice to have a cup for taking coffee back to my room. Having access to the parking lot was nice too.

I stayed January 5-10, 2014, in the off-season, and paid around 10,000 yen per night with breakfast included. I chose this hotel partly for its large public bath. It's right in the city center, and the bus stop is just a short walk away. The rooms have a washing machine, refrigerator, and microwave. Breakfast had several choices each day, including Okinawan foods such as vinegared mozuku seaweed, bitter melon chanpuru, fuchanpuru, juicy, yushi tofu, and sata andagi. For a city hotel buffet, both the quality and quantity were adequate. 😃

I booked this hotel as part of a package deal. It's near downtown, and the room was spacious. I was surprised there was a washing machine, though I didn't use it. I don't think I've stayed in a hotel with one before, and it seems well suited to longer visits. I arrived late for breakfast and the soba noodles had run out, so I only got the broth. I don't know what breakfast costs, but if it's 1500 yen as other reviewers mentioned, that feels overpriced. At that price, I think they should replenish the noodles.

The breakfast spread was extensive and good, but some items were limited and served first come, first served. Once they ran out, they weren't replenished. The hotel seems geared toward large groups. I saw high school sports teams in tracksuits and adult work groups, and if you run into them, you just have to accept the situation. Even in the off-season, the underground parking lot was nearly full. If it is, you have to use a run-down lot about 100 meters away on the site of a demolished building. They don't tell you this at check-in, so look for the sign. Parking costs 1,000 yen per night. The in-room washer-dryer is old and couldn't dry my clothes in three hours. There's a free gas dryer on the fifth floor that's better if you're in a hurry. The large public bath is simple and fairly spacious, but noisy families can make it stressful. The changing room is small while the bathing area is large. There's a sign asking people to wash before getting in, but many just shower without washing properly. Since the bath water doesn't circulate, it gets a bit cloudy. There are no trash cans in the bathroom, which is inconvenient, and the sink height is strange lol.
