The room, the service, everything was much better than I expected for such a low price. I was drawn to the owner's personality and would like to stay again. I came away with wonderful memories of time spent with friends I love.

This is a two-bedroom, two-living-room apartment, with two single beds in one room and a single and double bed in the other. It felt more like a privately run pension than a villa. It had most appliances, including a rice cooker, microwave, and toaster, and plenty of cooking utensils, so it should suit people who like to cook. What brought the rating down was the lack of explanation and amenities, and how tiring it was to get answers from the owner. After I checked out, I got an email asking how to use the amenities, after another guest had already checked in. I answered but never heard back. I wonder how they act as working adults. The rental car was included and seemed inexpensive, but the car quality and lack of an airport shuttle meant I had to call a taxi for the return trip. It made me think I would've been better off just renting a car. Unfortunately, I won't use this service again.

The location and the owner's handmade touch are lovely, so this was our third visit. The father and son are hardworking and have great personalities. We'll definitely stay at their next new place. It was a great spot to unwind, whether we were in a yonnayonnamo or a nukanukamo. 😊

A nicely renovated old house with generous rooms and an ocean view. The owner was kind and let us check out later than planned. I'd happily stay here again on another trip to Miyakojima.
