We were really glad to find this place for our four-night Okinawa stay. The price was very reasonable for having the whole house to ourselves. The setting is quiet and private, with a great sea view and a lovely beach. There’s a big lawn out front where I could do yoga in the morning and enjoy Okinawa’s nice weather. It feels secluded, but the nearest convenience store is walkable, and supermarkets, local shops, and a tasty Yakiniku restaurant are close by. It also worked really well as a base for exploring northern Okinawa. The bungalow’s outside looks a little old from being near the sea, but the inside is well kept. The house and bathroom were clean, and everything worked well. There are two bedrooms, though we only used one. It had all the usual household things we could think of, including kitchen gear and washing and drying machines. The beds felt too soft for us, though someone else might like that. We loved our stay and would definitely come back to Okinawa.

The view was what I loved most. The wooden house is nicely made and has nearly all the everyday things you need. There’s a Lawson about an eight-minute walk away, and a supermarket around a ten-minute drive. Some people said the seawater wasn’t clean. I found it clean at low tide.

We booked through Booking.com, and the price seemed fair. It’s a little out of the way, but that suited us after staying in the big city. The scenery and slower pace were a nice change. Definitely rent a car to get here.

The house was clean and had the basic utilities, though there was no bottled water or coffee. The beach was really dirty, with a lot of plastic. We left groceries on the table overnight, and in the morning the eggs were under the table and had been eaten by something. I’m not sure what it was, as shown in the picture. There’s a large outdoor area with a swing, but it was broken and unusable. The house has two rooms, but the other one was full of supplies, so we couldn’t use it.
