Miyawaka Torano Yu

I have tattoos, so being able to use a private onsen bath was perfect. The room was clean and spacious, the staff were friendly, and both breakfast and dinner were delicious. It was also very quiet, which I appreciated. I loved my stay and would like to return. Some reviews give it three or four stars, but to me that seems overly picky, maybe they're used to being pampered.

I wished we could have stayed another night. Our room was stylish and clean, and we could get to the hot springs without having to move around, which made it easy to relax. The building's layout probably means the steps can't be avoided. In the fridge, there was complimentary tea, shochu, and some incredibly tasty dango rice dumplings. We arrived late from northern Tohoku, after the buffet had already started. Thanks to the staff's thoughtfulness, we could eat at our own pace, and their teamwork was impressive. Everything at the buffet tasted good, especially the domestic beef steak. I went back for more several times. It was a wonderful trip, and I'm grateful to all the staff. I'll definitely return someday.

The buffets at dinner and breakfast were good, and the staff gave excellent service. I did find tatami fibers sticking to my socks in the guest room, though. The exhaust fan in the smoking area was dirty, and its filter hadn't been replaced. Those were the downsides for me, but I still thought the stay was good.

The sashimi was delicious, and I thought it was great that the bath was available anytime, even though there isn't a large public bath. Free Wi-Fi worked well. Phone reception was weak: UQ Mobile and Rakuten each had one bar, while AU had two.
