M's Hotel Clair Miyazaki

My second stay here was pleasant again. The staff were friendly and helpful, as usual.

A clean, nice hotel, and the prices are okay.

I had a spacious, clean room and thought the value was excellent. The bathroom was roomy too, and the shower pressure felt great. On my first night of a business trip from outside the prefecture, I enjoyed a hearty breakfast in the morning. There's a multi-story parking lot, though it seems to have only a limited number of spaces. Apart from the parking, it's a hotel I'd recommend and would definitely return to. 🙆🏼‍♂️

The breakfast had a nice range of salads, side dishes, rice dishes, soup, desserts, and drinks. Since the New Year fell within my stay, there were little seasonal dishes too, and the candied kumquats were especially good. I heard someone order French toast and get told it would take a while, so I might try that next time. I was in town for a meeting at another nearby hotel and stayed here overnight. The hotel sits on the corner of Prefectural Office Street, so it was easy to spot. The entrance and reception felt open and airy, with a big mirror that gave the space a calm, stylish look. The amenities were close by, too. I printed my reservation details ahead of time, which made check-in easy. The staff explained things clearly and were friendly. My room was on the 10th floor, and the elevator was smooth with hardly any wait. I picked a room with a bathtub, and everything was very clean. The only thing I minded was that the bathroom had no heating on such a cold day. The room was laid out well, with the desk and equipment by the window and enough space to move around despite the double bed and chair. The lighting at night was just right.
