Shirahama Beach Garden

After swimming, it was handy to rinse off in the outdoor shower, and Shirahama Beach is only a short walk away. The room had a stylish design, and the BBQ setup came with plates, chopsticks, tongs, and charcoal tongs. I called Aoshima Meat & Chicken nearby before it closed at 5pm, ordered meat, and had it delivered. It tasted great. I booked through Rakuten Travel.

The owner was so kind, and the rooms and facilities were stylish and really clean. Two families shared two rooms for two nights, and even with five people there was plenty of space. The toilet was spotless and had a washlet, and the rice cooker and microwave seemed new. The room looked just as lovely as it did in the website photos. We only wished there had been a bath stool, a washtub for older people who prefer to wash sitting down, and a lock on the toilet door. At night I carried a chair out to the garden and watched the stars while listening to the waves. It felt like I was being pulled into the sky, and I spotted several shooting stars. Walking along the beach early in the morning was lovely too. I’m back at work now, but I still can’t stop thinking about the stay. I’d love to return.

The beach is right in front of you, so the location is hard to beat.
