The room was roomy and cozy, and the staff were very helpful. They served us Muslim-friendly seafood for breakfast. Muslim travelers planning to eat breakfast should mention that they’re Muslim and explain which foods or ingredients they can’t eat. The staff can then prepare a suitable menu.

This small boutique hotel has a quiet, zen-like feel that we really enjoyed. The room was spacious and comfortable, and there’s parking. It’s on a quieter side of town, but Mizuya station and places to eat are within walking distance. I’d recommend the sumptuous Japanese breakfast.

Breakfast was top tier, and they made us a delicious, well-prepared vegetarian meal. The sauna was lovely too. We stayed one night at Mizuya and had such a wonderful time that we want to come back someday. The staff were attentive, gave us great recommendations, and shared details about the hotel’s history and design. We also loved the loom by the entrance where guests can weave a few lines into a shared tapestry. Our spacious room was thoughtfully equipped with a Matcha making set and a wonderful hot kettle table, and everything felt premium. Thank you 🙏
