HOTEL R9 The Yard MOKA Inter

The rooms are very clean and there’s nothing in particular that bothers me. I’ve stayed here many times because it’s so cheap. The containers along the road shake quite a bit whenever a large truck goes by, which seems unavoidable with this kind of building. I’ve been woken by the noise several times during the night. When I stayed in January, the heating didn’t work at all and I shivered the whole time. Still, for the price, I think it’s a pretty good hotel.

The rooms are spacious, the beds are good quality, and having a refrigerator, microwave, and massage chair in the room makes for a comfortable stay. The containers are spaced well apart, so noise from the next room doesn’t carry over. I picked this hotel as regular business hotels have become hard to afford with prices rising, and it turned out to be the right choice. The outside looks like a shipping container, but the rooms are as good as, or even better than, a regular business hotel. They seem to be opening locations around the country, so I’ll come back next time.

I like this hotel’s style as a car lover, especially having the parking close by, and this was my third stay. Since my last visit four months ago, they’ve added more container rooms, changed the layout a little, and enlarged the parking lot. I can’t see the shrine next door anymore. Some rooms are right beside private homes, so I’d like to be mindful of manners. I can’t hear neighboring rooms, but street traffic comes through quite a bit. Maybe that’s because the containers aren’t raised off the ground, since there are hardly any steps. The room is spacious and has a microwave, and I really like the option to choose a frozen meal.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. It was my first time here and I didn’t have any particular problems, though brighter lighting would have been nice. Frozen pasta or fried rice is free, as are coffee, tea, and green tea, but you need to go to reception for them. The hotel is on a main road, but the area around it is residential, so noise is strictly prohibited.
