Happo Apartments - Vacation STAY 02795v

Our family of 11 stayed four nights in two three-bedroom apartments at Happo Apartments. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were well equipped, and we had what we needed to make breakfast and dinner. Although there wasn’t a receptionist on site, we felt looked after. We were especially grateful for the complimentary shuttle to and from Ozigawa for our day trip to the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. We’d definitely recommend the property.

The Happo One Ski Resort gondola is only a few steps away, and the service was excellent. We had a great time skiing with friends, and the setup works well for big groups and families. There’s communal laundry, ski storage, and Central snow sports rental shops. Check-in was easy for our group, so we didn’t have to worry about the numbers. It’s a convenient, relaxing place to stay, and I’d happily recommend it and come back.

The staff were great about booking dinner restaurants and arranging rides when needed. The place was clean and tidy, with a useful boot room. It’s a short walk to buses for the other resorts, while the Happo One Gondola is just two minutes away, which is ideal if you’re skiing there. My one complaint is the noise in rooms near the front. Late-night people walking by and skiers in boots heading to the gondola early in the morning can sound incredibly clear, almost as if there were no windows. That’s why I took off a star.

The staff were a pleasure to deal with, always friendly and ready to help or chat. The three-bedroom apartment was spacious and beautifully furnished, and the drying room was one of the best I’ve seen. The location is hard to beat, less than two minutes on foot from the happo Gondola. I’ll definitely return next year.
