Unizo Inn Express Morioka

We stayed here for a bit of rest before moving on to our next destination. The room was just right for one person, quiet and comfortable, and I slept really well. Staff were kind and helpful, and there's free water by the elevator. We'd happily stay again.

The price is great, and it's a good budget place to stay if you're taking the shuttle to Appi kogen ski resort, about 40 minutes away. The station is a five-minute walk, and the room and service were up to standard.

The room was clean and modern, and the staff were friendly. It's also conveniently near the train station. But the single room was very small, even by Japan standards. I could hardly stand comfortably at the toilet sink. I stayed one night here and another night at a similarly priced hotel in Morioka, where the room was much bigger and more comfortable.

The hotel was clean and quiet, and the beds and large pillows were comfortable. It has a Nordic hotel feel. The staff were friendly, though not especially helpful. There isn't parking at the hotel, so you have to pay to park in front. Coming from morioka station, you can take an elevator down to the first floor to check in. Finding the entrance was a real challenge. Even Google Maps struggles because it's tucked under the elevated road. Each room is for one person.
