The room was big, with a lovely balcony and a great view of Lake Biwa. There aren't many amenities, but it's a peaceful place to switch off and enjoy the scenery. The staff were welcoming and very polite, and I appreciated the little snack hour on the second floor. Thank you :)

Dinner was delicious, with plenty of alcoholic drinks to choose from, and they sent us away with a box of snacks to take back to the room. The staff were so friendly and even offered to take photos for us. The lake views were beautiful from the rooms, the library, and the lounge, which had a big book selection, drinks, snacks, and a record player with vinyl. We also liked the rooftop lounge. The hotel was breathtaking from every corner.

The shared spaces were a highlight, with a reading area, a lounge full of comfy chairs, and a rooftop spot for enjoying the view. In the lounge there were lots of snacks and drinks, plus indoor and outdoor seating. We were here for one night while visiting family nearby. Our room was extremely spacious and clean, and the view was outstanding. We loved it. The food was great too. I can't remember how many courses we had, but I believe it was all locally sourced in and around Shiga.

Watching the beautiful Lake Biwa sunset through the huge room window was so peaceful and relaxing. The hotel itself has a simple, stylish design. :))

The staff were super nice and the service left me very satisfied. Every room has a nice view of Biwako, and dinner, snacks, and breakfast were all included. Luxury at an affordable price.
