We spent a wonderful week here as a couple, working remotely on weekdays and using the house as a base to explore the island on weekends. Snorkeling was super awesome, just a 15 minute walk away, and the location is close to the aquarium, Emerald beach, and especially Bisezaki Kaigan, one of Okinawa's best snorkeling spots. The living room and kitchen were great, with everything needed for daily life and cooking, even soy sauce and vinegar. We also loved opening the living room window to see Ie Island, and the west-facing room gave us unbelievable sunsets. The management were very kind, polite, and helpful when we called about a hot water problem on arrival. Still, my sleep was pretty poor overall. The pillows felt cheap and nasty, like shredded plastic bags. The bedroom air conditioner was noisy, dirty, and kept creaking, moaning, and popping, which cost me a lot of sleep. It was a cheap brand I'd never heard of, and inside was full of dust when I opened it to investigate, as if it hadn't been cleaned or serviced. The toilet had no washlet, which felt like another corner cut. The house was mostly clean, but hundreds of dead ants and other insects around most door frames and windows hadn't been cleared away, leaving a bad impression. I'd stay again if they made it as comfortable to sleep as it is to live.
