We had a wonderful stay in Okinawa. It isn't a luxury hotel, but for a few days it made a lovely retreat, with peaceful surroundings, beautiful views, a beach nearby, and a taste of everyday Japanese living.

The price was good for this location, and the staff were very helpful. The beach was a nice place to swim, and you can rent SUPs, snorkeling gear, and banana boats there.

This is more like a serviced apartment than a hotel, with basic rooms but plenty of facilities. The location is excellent, right on the beach, where there are lots of marine activities, and close to other nice beaches and attractions. The construction work in the car park was disappointing. You'll need a rental car, since there are no shops or restaurants within walking distance.

The flat was so comfortable, with everything I needed: kitchen utensils and cookware, a washing machine, and a dryer. The sea view is completely unobstructed and just amazing, and it's literally right on the beach. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, even though they don't speak much English, and they tried to help with anything I needed. They also provide sand toys for kids. It's a little remote, but there's a bus stop nearby, and a bus takes just 10 minutes to a small town with shops and restaurants. From there, you can take a direct bus to Naha, or catch a ferry to Naha from the port. I can't recommend this place enough, and we'd definitely come back.

The room is roomy and tidy, and it worked well for our family to spend a weekend together. It’s a long way from town, but the peaceful beach and lovely views make the trip worthwhile. It can feel like you have the beach to yourself.
