Sea-K

The kids made the most of the loft upstairs, playing there constantly, and we all had a lovely week. The place was spacious, clean, and well equipped, with a big dining room, bedroom, loft, toilet, washroom, dressing room, and bath. I'd guess it's around 80 square meters. From the guest notes, it seemed most people were couples or families with young children, and four people including little ones, or two adults, might suit it best. We'd come north for whale watching, since our boat left from that part of Okinawa. Sea-K was a good fit because resort hotel rooms can feel cramped on a longer stay. The view was lovely, especially at sunset, with the ocean reflecting the light while we sipped Orion beer. There are beach resorts nearby, along with places like Churaumi Aquarium and Nakijin Island. Sesoko Beach and Minna Island were easy to get to, and Sesoko Beach was gorgeous. We stayed in Naha on the last day because of our flight, but on the drive south we managed American Village, Kokusai Street, and some crafts. With good planning, you can see things around Naha too. We'd like to return during swimming season.

Our kids loved looking out at the sea from the loft and the upstairs bedroom. The inn is set a little apart from neighboring buildings, so it was very quiet when we stayed in July, and the room was spotless with plenty of amenities. We spent every day in the water, and having a washer, detergent, and a balcony clothesline made it easy to wash and dry our swimsuits and swim rings. You can get to Motobu Port and Churaumi Aquarium by bus, though services are limited. Sesoko has lots of tasty places to eat, and there are good restaurants and clear, beautiful beaches within walking distance. A lovely spot if you want to enjoy Okinawa's nature and feel like you're living there for a while.

I stayed here in January after coming from Nagoya. It was warm enough to see cherry blossoms blooming, and I'd love to come back in another season. The garden is spacious and nicely laid out, with flowers, bananas, and papayas. From the room on the hill, I could eat while looking out at the sea and even watch the sun come up. The place was very clean, perhaps thanks to the owner's care, and it was easy to settle into a slow, comfortable routine. Seems like a good choice for a longer stay.

A nice place to slow down, relax, and reset both mind and body.
