Tabinoteitaku Okinawa Bise Homann Concept

It was my first time back in Okinawa in 28 years, and my kids' first visit. We had a lovely time at Tabinoteitaku Okinawa Bise. The new cottage was clean, spacious enough for the four of us, and tucked away in a quiet area. I especially liked the kitchen and dining room layout for relaxing morning and evening. Trees surround the home, so it feels like you're in the jungle, yet the sea wall is only a short walk away and Emerald Beach is about 10 minutes on foot. There are a few restaurants nearby and a Lawson about 15 minutes away. The friendly neighborhood cats were a nice bonus. We'd happily return.

I was very satisfied with my stay and would definitely come back if I'm in Okinawa again. The facilities had everything I needed, and I had no trouble during the visit. It was cleaned thoroughly, which made the room pleasant. There was a faint odd smell when I first walked in, possibly from Okinawa's humidity, but it improved quickly after I turned on the air conditioner, and the room then smelled pleasantly of wood. I enjoyed the thoughtful touches in the interior and furniture. I'd seen an earlier review mention low shower pressure, but we didn't have that problem at all. The shower head has three pressure settings, which may help future guests. Wi-Fi is available too. The terrace table and chairs felt sturdy, and I enjoyed sitting outside in the cool morning air. Sunlight coming through the camphor trees and windows was beautiful and calming.

We arrived late and felt a little uneasy driving along in the dark toward the inn. There was a cafe behind the parking lot, and a white cat greeted us there. Once we entered the door code, the place opened up into a clean, roomy space, and the kids were so excited they were already calling us upstairs while we unpacked, lol. They kept saying, “We could live here! We could even make hot pot!” The washing machine, dryer, and detergent were especially handy so close to the beach. We loved the night sky too, and even spotted a gecko on the outside wall. The host was adorable. Thanks so much. Great value for the money.

Traveling with two generations of family, we were able to settle in and relax. The kitchen was hygienic and easy to use, and the bathroom was roomy and convenient too. The interior felt like home, but it was so uncluttered and clean that we all went, “Wow!” I hadn't checked the directions beforehand and drove straight to the lodging with navigation. The parking was hard to figure out and the road was narrow, which made me wonder if we'd made a mistake. But opening the door with the keypad felt like stepping into another world. My grandchildren from Aichi got so excited they said they wanted to buy the house and take it home. We'll remember this stay.
