A lovely spot for nature lovers, with the feel of a farmstay but plenty of amenities. The view over Beppu Bay is beautiful, and you can feed the horses, camp, or surf. Amane & Takashi were so welcoming. They arranged pickup, gave us advice about Yufuin and Beppu, and kept a good distance while still checking in on all the details of our trip. Thanks for opening your lovely home to us and making us feel so welcome.

A repeat SBG customer had told us this place was great, and we finally made it here with our family. The owners are a kind, lovely couple, and they were wonderful with our children. Our kids will remember riding the boat and spending time with the two ponies for a long time. The house is in Hinode Town, across Beppu Bay from Beppu, with a quiet private beach. From the living room, bathroom, and bedroom, we could watch the sky and sea change color over time. It was the perfect place to enjoy them.

There’s a great private beach right in front of this private house. The first-floor relaxation area and garden seemed poorly cleaned, though, and there were belongings left by previous tenants as well as things that didn’t seem to belong to anyone. It’s inconvenient to walk from the parking lot, but if that doesn’t bother you, the place is perfect.
