The breakfast was the highlight, with a choice at check-in between Japanese and Western styles. I picked Japanese, and they gave me a small card to use in the dining room in the morning. The staff I met, a man at reception and a woman in the dining room, were friendly. I speak enough Japanese to get by, so I can't say how well they speak English. The room was mostly maintained, but it looked worn, with dusty patches, dirty hand marks on the walls, and what might have been mold in the bath and shower cracks. The walls are thin too. I could hear someone snoring clearly next door, and it sounded worrying enough that I wondered if he was alright. Some people may find that noise bothersome. It's fine as a place to sleep, and the breakfast was great. I was here for work, so I hadn't chosen the hotel myself.

The restaurant on the second floor served generous portions, with dinner brought to the table and breakfast taken as a set meal you choose yourself, Japanese or Western, rather than a buffet. They also had plenty of alcoholic drinks, including beer and sake, which made it nice to sit and have a relaxed drink in the evening. My room was spacious, and the hotel worked perfectly well for a business trip. I stayed several nights on a package that included one night and two meals. There's a small indoor parking area that's handy for riders, and the restaurant district is close by. You could pay in cash or have the payment included in the room rate.

The room setup had a few drawbacks over my multiple-night stay. It was dim, the amenities were limited, and there wasn't an outlet beside the pillow, so a longer phone charging cable would help. The shower pressure was weak, and the thin walls meant noise could be an issue. You get a regular key rather than a card, and some TV content, including movies, costs extra. Breakfast was a set meal, not a buffet, and you had to choose Japanese or Western food the day before. It was much the same each day, so switching styles during a longer stay might keep it from getting boring.
