The breakfast was delicious, and there’s a great hot spring in the building for relaxing after a day on the slopes. The storage room worked perfectly for snow gear, and the rooms were clean and nice. The man running the hotel is extremely kind and takes very good care of his guests. I’ll definitely come back if I return to myoko.

I stayed one night without meals. The bath was lovely and warmed me right through, and the quiet room let me sleep really well. It was a Japanese-style room; once we pushed the table aside, four futons fit with plenty of space. There was free Wi-Fi, but the signal was weak, perhaps because the room was at the edge of the building, so it wasn’t much use. The area is close to nature, so it’s probably a good idea to check for insects or other pests before setting your luggage down, just to relax with peace of mind.
It was a terrible place to stay. The bathroom had no hair dryer, the room’s air conditioning was broken, and there was only one washing machine. The dryer didn’t work either. I felt more stressed than comfortable there. I’m posting this so nobody else has to go through the same thing.
