Hotel New Yama

There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and the location worked well for my business trip. I appreciated the price, especially with hotel costs going up everywhere. The bath is small and getting the water temperature right takes a little effort, but it didn't bother me for this stay. Thank you (ㅅ´꒳` )

The bathroom was on the small side, and the room stayed cold while I was sleeping, so I had to leave the heater running. There was a gap around the room door too, which let in voices and chilly air.

There are no meals included, but with restaurants and convenience stores close by, that was easy to manage. I chose the hotel for its reasonable price and proximity to Zenkoji Temple. It's in Gondo, central Nagano, though the narrow one-way streets can make finding your way confusing. The rooms are small and dated, and parking costs extra.

I stayed comfortably for a low price, right in central Nagano City and within walking distance of Zenkoji Temple. Parking was 600 yen, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
