I wasn't comfortable here. The sauna chairs were left wet with other customers' sweat because there were no towel mats. I hope they address that.

Getting there takes about 30 minutes by car from Nagaoka Station, so the location isn't especially convenient. The shuttle bus made the trip easier, though. I stayed overnight for a meeting, and the meeting room was clean and well equipped. The Shokado bento served at the meeting was tasty too.

The bath left my skin feeling really smooth. I think the water is an alkaline simple spring, though there was a strong chlorine smell. That was fine with me personally. It was my first visit, and the facilities turned out better than I expected.
