Takako was really friendly, and I had no issues with the amenities. The guesthouse is a minute from Dejima, while Nagasaki Station is a short ride away by bus or tram. Peace park/museum and Ours Church/Glover Garden are also an easy bus or tram trip. I had a wonderful time here and would happily recommend it.

The owner is so sweet and kind. I was in a dorm, with plenty of space and a comfy bed. The rooms, toilet and shower area, and common room were all clean and well looked after. A great place to stay in Nagasaki, definitely recommend.

The location made getting around easy. Many attractions and museums were nearby, though the atomic bomb museum was farther away. There were also good places to eat, convenience stores, and a shopping street close by. I stayed three days, and the room was clean and pleasant, with wide, comfortable bunks. Having only four people in a room kept it from feeling crowded or noisy. The facilities were good too, with a washing machine, a common room with a kettle and charging stations, and roof access where you could dry clothes or relax in the evening.

The staff were lovely and helped with everything. When they weren't around, there was plenty of written information about Nagasaki. I was sad to leave and hope I can come back. It really felt like home, and the location was right where you want to be, close to everything. The rooms had loads of space for your things and all the amenities I needed, with a warm feel. It was quiet and very clean, and they cleaned and changed the towels daily. There was a nice living room, a small kitchen, tea and coffee, and a washing machine for an extra charge. Best hostel I've stayed in!
