The quiet surroundings were a nice surprise, and there’s a grocery store at the nearby intersection. The hotel also has its own parking lot close by. Inside, the bathroom is spacious and clean, and the tatami area fits two open suitcases with room to walk around. The Western-style mattress and pillows were really comfortable. I’d keep this place in mind for my next visit.

I tried breakfast once, with both Japanese and Western options, and it was really nice for this kind of hotel. I stayed in a lovely apartment in the annex, with its own entrance, a small kitchen, AC, washing machine (100 yen per wash), and a little balcony. It’s newly built and still feels fresh. For a hotel in rural Japan, it’s quite nice.
There’s a supermarket right beside the hotel, and the lawn is a nice place to spend an evening. The rooms are small, but clean and tidy. It’s peaceful enough for a good night’s sleep, and it serves its purpose for people visiting the shipyard, which is nearby. Getting to the nearest city takes at least 30 minutes, though. I would’ve liked better breakfast choices. Everyday items like coffee and toothbrushes aren’t in the rooms, so you have to pick them up in the hotel lobby.
The food was so good, I hope I can keep eating it for the rest of my life. Everyone was welcoming, and the place stayed clean throughout my visit.
I was so grateful they could find me a room on such short notice. The staff were really welcoming, helpful, and accommodating.
